Our daughter started at Kindercare Belmont in January 2021 at 17 months old. Right from the very first day, when the staff were dealing with my tears more than hers, I knew we had found the perfect daycare for our girl. She will leave Kindercare Belmont in August this year, once she turns 5 and heads off to school. Kindercare Belmont have absolutely done their job, as she is so ready for school, and is so prepared for it. Always friendly, ready for a chat, and legitimately know about my child and how she thrives.
We focus on building secure relationships between children and educators, closely following home routines, and supporting each child in meeting their developmental milestones. The government funding rates are currently set at £7.67 per hour for 3–4-year-olds and £10.87 per hour for Busy2s and Working Family 2-year-olds. These rates do not cover the true cost of delivering the high-quality care and education we provide. In particular, they do not cover food, additional hours, consumables, curriculum enrichment, or the wider services that families value at YEK, including highly qualified nursery teachers.
