Our cooking program gives little hands the chance to explore food in fun and creative ways. Both my kids are thriving, they’ve made lots of long-lasting friendships, and so have my husband and I. Located on the corner of Fulbourne Av and Yarrara Rd, we are conveniently located within 5 minutes' walking distance to Pennant Hills or Thornleigh railway stations. It is easily accessible by families traveling by car from West Pennant Hills, Cherrybrook, Beecroft, Westleigh, Normanhurst, and Wahroonga. Children who have completed at least one year of the Preschool Program and have had their fifth birthday on or before 31st July may enrol in Kindergarten for the following year.
Through fun, hands-on activities, we bridge the gap between early childhood experiences and the expectations of primary school. Dependent on the needs of every baby, we time lunch to suit the children. Team members will support your child to eat and/or have a bottle, and when they are ready, are gently settled for sleep or rest. With an open-door policy, families can enjoy lunch/bottle time with your baby if you wish. There are approximately 18 child care centres in West Pennant Hills.
Being able to drop them off in the morning and know that they are in a happy, loving environment was the most important thing for me. There was a level of love and care from all the staff which honestly blew me away. Yes we use the Kinderm8 program to provide newsfeeds and daily journals. You can use this as an app or on a computer to see your child’s progress and involvement in our educational program which links to the Early Years Learning Framework. The transition to school program at our centre focuses on assisting children to develop a sense of identity, respond to emotional and cognitive demands of the school environment and life beyond. The Australian Government offers Child Care Subsidy to families who are eligible.
There are numerous places to take a break including picnic areas and wide open green spaces near the visitor centre. As mentioned, there’s also a cafe located next to the visitor centre so you can grab yourself a coffee. Our 4 and 6 year olds easily do these trails and while the signs say 1 hour the walks only ever take us a half hour.

Founded by Winifred Macourt in 1935, the preschool began its life in a home near Thompson’s Corner. In 1956 it moved to 6 New Line Road, and officially reopened at its current site in 1957.

Everyone has been very helpful with settling seth into a school like environment, especially with seths autism he needs a little extra support and reassurance during the day. Heather was such an amazing educator and Lilly the team are amazing too.
We offer afternoon tea and at this time children come together in small groups or with siblings. This is a time children enjoy spending with their friends and fosters a sense of belonging. For those who don’t there are more planned experiences, most likely to be outdoors – such as group games, using our outdoor equipment & enjoying the sandpit. Our excursion program where families can come along on visits to places in the community. Easily track your child’s daily activities, book casual days, and receive real-time updates from the centre-all at your fingertips. Every child enjoys 5 wholesome meals a day, freshly prepared by our dedicated in-house centre chef to support their growth and wellbeing.
We believe that every child deserves the very best start in life. Preparing children for a confident, happy transition to school. This is certainly on the horizon, but no plans are in place at this time.
