Erin is the passionate Service Manager at Story House Early Learning Pakenham, with over 21 years of experience in the early childhood sector and a Diploma in Children’s Services.

With 12 years of experience in Early Education and as a parent myself, I understand the importance of creating a home away from home where families feel supported and children thrive. While we understand that this can be inconvenient, Creative Garden is committed to maintaining a healthy environment and reducing the risk of infection for all children. On the day of the tour, you can observe practices and interactions within the centre environment. You’ll be able to see all the rooms and playgrounds, ask the team members any questions you have in mind, and get all the information you need to make the best decision for your child. As your child prepares to head home, this is your opportunity to speak with our friendly educators about your child’s day and everything they learnt. We create a sense of belonging for your child, ensuring they feel heard and empowered to make choices, fostering their independence.
Please keep your child home for at least 24 hours if they show any of these symptoms. On the Princes highway- with a safe service lane entry, making it convenient and easy for drop off and picks ups from work. Ellie and some of her nursery friends enjoy some story time and songs outside in the shaded garden. On any given day the Toddlers can be seen developing their numeracy by building a tower, sorting objects, pointing and identifying shapes and patterns and participating in counting songs and games. We are conveniently located for families in or commuting through Pakenham, Nar Nar Goon, Nar Nar Goon North and Pakenham Upper.
As part of the daily fee, children enjoy weekly sign language, Hey Dee Ho, and yoga classes. We offer a Government-approved Kindergarten program led by Bachelor-qualified Early Childhood Teachers, ensuring children’s smooth transition to school. Our purpose-built child care and kindergarten centre in Officer provides innovative early learning programs in safe, nurturing and enriching spaces.

In my role, I enjoy assessing our service holistically, ensuring it caters to the diverse needs of children and families in our community. I value walking alongside children as they learn about themselves, about others and about the world around them. Our service benefits from rich cultural connections that shape meaningful interactions among families and children, making it a unique and vibrant educational setting. Our centre chef prepares and cooks nutritious meals daily, catering to the unique dietary requirements of every child. Charlotte is almost five years old and can’t wait for today’s carpentry experience - she loves building things! Carpentry experiences allow Charlotte and her friends to extend their learning through real-life experiences.
Goodstart’s kindergarten programs is designed to prepare your child for future success in schooling and life. Created in accordance with the government-approved Early Years Learning Framework, our curriculum teaches vital skills. With programs that fit within long daycare hours, your child receives the benefits of structured activities during hours that suit your needs. Progressing from the nursery through to our Kindergarten program, our centre has 7 learning rooms specifically designed for each age group and development. This allows them to learn at their own pace, whilst building social skills by engaging with their peers.
