From six weeks to six years, Kool Kidz helps your child become all they  can bright cubs academy be. For over 25 years, our family-owned and operated centres have provided quality childcare and education. Children attending our Centre will also have the chance to see the same familiar faces as they move on up from our nursery room, into our Oakleigh East Kindergarten program. This funded two-year Kindergarten program is designed specifically to help prepare your child transition from early learning to primary school.

We have a dedicated building for children in our zero-two years of age and a dedicated building for children aged three-five years of age. Children across both age groups have opportunities to collaborate during the day. The size of our service also provides greater opportunities for families to connect with one another and for children to build relationships with their educators and peers without feeling overwhelmed.

For children aged three and above, our Government-Funded Kindergarten Program is delivered within our long day care setting. This means children can experience a quality kindergarten education while still enjoying the flexibility of long day care hours.
Kool Kidz Childcare and Early Learning respectfully acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land on which our centres are located. Our multi-purpose, communal space where we enjoy educational visits or play on a rainy day. Each centre features beautifully designed outdoor spaces with a blend of fixed and flexible equipment. The staff have always been empathetic, kind, caring and committed to the children and their wellbeing. Our team plans more opportunities for play, exploration, creativity and fun with friends, before coming together for afternoon tea, where the team supports their growing independence with opportunities to practice serving themselves. Our planned indoor and outdoor nursery experiences continue with the chance for movement, games and more books and songs, with an afternoon snack provided.

We can connect directly with you, share your child’s special moments, provide daily summaries of activities and keep you up-to-date with community news and events. Their education program is fabulous and focuses on the individual child’s abilities and is tailored to suit their interests and heritage. Occasional care is a similar environment to long day care – safe, friendly and staffed with qualified educators - except the centre is set up for much shorter sessions, and is likely to have less formal booking processes. Children arrive with engaging experiences set up for them and their friends of different ages to play with together, supporting collaboration and communication across age groups.
Eligible children aged three years and above will receive up to $2101 inadditional subsidies to reduce your out-of-pocket fees. Learning through play allows children to build their knowledge, develop confidence, and embrace curiosity. There will be opportunities for children and families to take part in our excursion program. For older children, this includes visits to our local school, supporting a successful transition. Oakleigh Grammar Vacation Care-Extend provides centre-based care for up to 30 approved spaces.

Breakfast time provides a great chance for you to share what is important and how your baby’s night at home was.
