He founded the International Adventist Musicians Association, serving as its president for ten years and editing its publications and website for over thirty years. “Incepted in 2013, The Basement Studio sought to provide a quality creative space for all musicians from all genres to rehearse and create. Today we’ve evolved to also provide a more dynamic space for multi-track recording, live-streaming events and voiceover recording. He performed in over 40 Operas culminating in 120 performances at the Opera Company. Since he began his private study in Baltimore and Gettysburg with Forrest Barrett in 1973 and in Washington with Todd Duncan, Mr. Gellert has had a steady stream of voice students of all ages.

Robert specializes in auxiliary clarinets such as Eb clarinet, Basset Horn, and Bass Clarinet. Levine Presents, recognized as one of the best performance series in the Washington area, features world-renowned artists, experienced teachers and accomplished students. School of Rock has been an excellent experience for my son and has taught him the value of teamwork in an attitude transforming way that sports could not. The staff is extremely present and focused on every level of musician in the program. All songs were recorded in the Georgetown Prep recording studio by students and faculty.

My son has done the Berklee 5 week last summer as a Drum  Performance major. He was put into two ensembles, one was not so challenging and less than stimulating, the other was with more experienced players and he found that one challenging and lots of fun. My biggest criticism was that each ensemble rehersed only twice per week.
