I barely grazed the surface on my trip, as we missed waterfalls and other gorgeous sights. While the majority of the trail may look the same, the end is where the magic lies. Getting to Blue Glacier and Mt. Olympus is an incredible achievement, pets grooming near olympic park but it is not for the faint of heart. You’ll have to trek 35 miles, with the last quarter gaining serious elevation. This is not a short trek, especially from Seattle or Portland, where I assume most of you will be driving.

The ODT, at that time only a gravel surface, was on its way. In 1998 the first section of railway corridor running west from Port Townsend was opened to trail users. Named The Larry Scott Memorial Trail to honor one of the early cyclist visionaries , this initial effort has today grown to 6 miles. It will eventually be 26 miles of trail as it rounds Discovery Bay and meets the terminus of Clallam County’s east end at the Jefferson-Clallam county line. In 2008 the Sequim Sunrise Rotary Club completed 0.5 miles of horse, barbed, and smooth wire fencing along the new section of the ODT west of Priest Road. As you pass by, take a moment to look for the eagles.
Devil’s Punchbowl is a 2.4-mile out-and-back hike on a mostly paved trail. Most of the hike is along Lake Crescent’s shoreline so that you can enjoy its serene beauty almost every step of the way. That means you need another day to travel to and from the park. Ideally, that day will also give you time to get settled with groceries and accommodations. The following morning is when your 3 days in Olympic National Park itinerary really begins. I recommend downloading your directions because some areas are so remote your phone will not have a signal.
At 5,400 feet in elevation, Deer Park boasts mountain views and starry skies. With a steep and winding gravel access road, Deer Park is not RV accessible. Immerse yourself in nature at Log Cabin Resorts with easy access to activities like hiking, and fishing, or explore nearby attractions like Hurricane Ridge or the Hoh Rain Forest. Two very chilled dogs at home this evening after spending time today at The Dog Bark.

Was driving past today and thought I’d check it out, I met Titus who was super friendly and helpful. I had a wonderful conversation with him, he made my day I will be back again. I came here for the chicken parmesan only and it was a good meal! A pint of stone and woods on the side made this dish a perfect lunch. The fries were a bit cold though, but overall a good meal.
Kids menu was great they had pancakes and Banana bread that they loved. Pizza is terrible, it’s like they get those cheapest frozen ones from Woolworths for $3 and then sell them for $20. Especially if you're a lifestyle member at Sydney Olympic Park.

Also not inside Olympic National Park, this is on the northern end of Olympic Peninsula and is too cool not to include. It’s part of Dungeness National Wildlife Refuge and is definitely one of the best beaches on Olympic Peninsula. A spectacular destination along Olympic National Park’s rugged shoreline, Cape Alava is also one of the park’s most distinctive beaches.

First of all, apologies I only have 1 photo of that evening. As it was a company dinner, it would have been awkward for me to take photos of every dish. I ordered the salmon for the main and it was very delicious. The salmon was not dry at all and the vegetables that came along with the dish went hand in hand with the salmon. You could actually taste the truffle in the fries.
We were in essence called liars by the staff who whilst appologetic displayed zero sincerity. As i said to them you ruined a special night out, something, in these times, people dont do much. My recent visit to Brewery Bar + Kitchen was nothing short of delightful, largely thanks to the impeccable service provided by Bonnie. From the moment we stepped in, Bonnie greeted us with a warm smile and genuine enthusiasm, setting the tone for the evening. The ambiance of Brewery Bar + Kitchen was inviting, with a cozy yet modern atmosphere that immediately put us at ease.
If you have three days in Olympic NP, the next stop on your itinerary should be the Olympic Coast. After all, no Pacific Northwest road trip would be complete without some time at the beach. Once you arrive in the park, you can take your pick of hiking trails to get an immersive experience of this unique and mesmerizing forest. Stop at the Hurricane Ridge Visitor Center to learn about the area. Then hike one of the trails , or, if visiting in winter, ski or snowboard. The Park, especially tourist hotspots like this, can be crowded in spring and summer, so try to get an early start.

The service was terrible with the waitress getting our order wrong at least 4 times before serving us an overpriced and tasteless, so-called Mexican meal. But not to worry… it was their “new system’s fault”. Not sure the person in the kitchen is even qualified/ experienced in cooking Mexican.
