Some places get too busy and then there's so much noise you cannot hear others or youself talk. But while this place is popular and does fill up at meal times, when sitting outside on the balcony it feels so peaceful. The food is a little pricey compared to what you can get everyday for lunch elsewhere but in all honesty the price really matches the excellent quality of the food. RAFI is a vibrant, contemporary multidimensional 300-seat restaurant and bar located on Mount Street.
There’s a huge children’s play area in the outdoor courtyard, which is sure to keep the kids entertained. There’s one for the toddlers and one for the big kids. It’s honestly huge, so make sure your child is feeling confident before they go climbing, as it wouldn’t be a fun place to have to go in after them! best cafe north sydney There’s so much space inside as well, making this the perfect location for a Mothers’ Group catch up. The Southern Courtyard is the smaller of Greenwood Hotel’s two outdoors areas and features an undercover awning area as well as several outdoor picnic style tables. The Greenwood Hotel has four spaces that can cater for events of all shapes and sizes. These include the Chapel and Lounge bars as interiors spaces and the Southern and Northern Courtyards on the exterior. Our Northern Courtyard is dog-friendly so  join us with your pooch, or drop in for one of our famous Chicken Schnitzels or 2 for 1 pizzas Thursdays.
Had a delightful and delicious experience at Ripples last night. Would highly recommend the Lamb Rump and green beans. This cafe is super convenient for work, but I admit I used to avoid it as the coffee wasn’t great. I don’t know what they’ve done but these days, the coffee is much improved, and the service is always friendly.
Enter via a back laneway, where hotel lobby elevators will teleport you to two spacious terraces, with the kitchen and glowing woodfired hearth as the centrepiece. Located within one of the old  locomotive workshops, the huge dining room and bar has space for 720 inside and an outdoor beer garden for 190. You can expect to find 40 beers on tap including BrewDog's famous draught beers, guest tap takeovers, and collabs with local Sydney breweries too. The menu has been carefully curated by Jessi and former Chin Chin head chef Johann Jay, and caters to all dietaries.

From the NOMAD Group, Beau is a sleek two-part venue in Surry Hills. Come midday, the lunch menu includes kofta wraps, spiced chicken shawarma, and a vegetable plate of fried cauliflower with zhug and tahini, roast pumpkin and baba, silverbeet, and muhammara. There’s no denyingPorch and Parlouris a North Bondi icon. Led by locals Sammy Smith, Sarah Hendriks Smith, Ljuobo Milicevic, and Patrick Coleman, this beachside institution has stood proud on the sunny strip of Ramsgate Avenue for over a decade now. Here, the focus is on wholesome, wellness-centred food—but with far more authenticity and bite than most other Bondi cafes can claim.
On-street parking is not available Monday to Friday within easy walking distance of the University. Just a 5-minute train ride over the famous Sydney Harbour Bridge from the Sydney city centre, the North Sydney Campus is conveniently located in the North Sydney business precinct. Italian food just tastes better with water views, and everything is a 10/10 at Alessandro Pavoni's Ormeggio at the Spit. The cuisine is modern French with a focus on seafood, and you can opt for a set menu from $155, with vegan and vegetarian diners looked after as well.

Plastic table clothes & the wait staff spraying, spray & wipe at the tables next to us as we are eating. Spray & Wipe on the service floor while customers are eating a big health issue no no. Bringing plastic containers to the table to scrape food from the plates into while still eating was beyhond stylish. By the time we received the coffee spoons to eat dessert, it had melted. Our beautiful Noble One dessert wine again plonked on the table, unopened, still no glasses. After the night we had experienced, that was a total non experience, we discovered on our check that they had over charged us $40 for the warm champagne & $20 for the Papadams.

Also pushing Sydney to see beyond avo on toast in the AM is Boon Cafe. There are also croissants smothered in lime-green pandan custard, a Thai-style fried chicken burger, brown rice bowls, and more. As well as its long and adventurous menu, everything is made in-house from scratch, making Boon a super special cafe in Sydney. There are plenty of vegetarian options on the menu, along with slow-cooked meats and fresh seafood dishes. Sustainably made, lo-fi wines make up the bulk of the wine list. The decor is simple, with pink and pale green hues paired with neutrals and timber furniture, and the front of the cafe opens up onto open-air mall with tables under umbrellas and fairy light-wrapped trees.
One of our house favorite, dukkah, 2 poached eggs, avocado, asparagus, watercress, fresh roasted crushed nuts on country white sourdough. For a taste of Italy in the backstreets of Neutral Bay, get yourself over to Italian Street Kitchen. Steered by Mauro Marcucci of Baccomatto Osteria, the buzzy eatery offers Italian street eats at very reasonable prices.
If you’re just visiting for a quick coffee be sure to try a muffin made by Grandma, and if you’ve a lunch date booked in you won’t be disappointed by the delicious puttanesca chorizo pasta or the chicken souvlaki. The pearl in Balmoral’s café crown undoubtedly goes to the Boathouse. But there’s a tiny new cafe in North Sydney that’s putting ramen on the breakfast menu – and it’s made by one of the city’s most influential ramen chefs. Went to Devon for brunch with my Wife and Daughter. They both enjoyed their meals very much especially the attention detail eg peeling the cooked tomatoes. I only had poached eggs which were cold when I received them but they replaced them without question.

Picking up where Bea left off in the iconic noodle bowl-shaped Barangaroo House building,Rekōdo is a restaurant and vinyl bar inspired by Japanese listening rooms. Rekōdo—Japanese for "record"—is as much a listening experience as it is a spot to sip sake and fill up on fiery red miso sesame eggplant. On the sonic front, treat your ears to Klipsch La Scala AK5 speakers, a McIntosh MC152 amplifier, a McIntosh MP100 Phono Preamp, and a set of McIntosh MT2 turntables. Tunes will switch between live vinyl DJs, Rekōdo's catalogue of vinyl, and guest musical curators. Other new additions include an ultra-comprehensive Japanese drink offering—and Australia's first sake sommelier.
