Ways to Let God Rewrite Your Story

Ways to Let God Rewrite Your Story

There should be evidence in your life that you truly follow Jesus. The day is coming when sports will be the last thing on people’s minds. I have nothing against sports, but soon there will be no more 250-million-dollar deals for athletes, when so much of the world is starving. All idols will come crashing down, crushed to dust, and the playing field will be leveled.
God uses a lot of untalented people to change the world around them, and I’m trusting that God can use me with my talent or lack thereof to do great things for him. And the reality is, God can use you to you too. Don’t need to be so talented in all these things.

So the next time you catch yourself judging someone’s starting point, remember that you’re just not qualified to do so. But when you understand the context of Jonah’s mission and what it truly meant, you see that Jonah’s life isn’t just a side story hidden among the minor prophets. It’s a reminder about who God is and the lengths He goes to save the lost. Jonah was a prophet whose story is contained in only four Old Testament chapters. But the book is one of the Bible’s most fascinating reads.
And without hearing the Word, you live your life without faith. This is why prioritizing church is so important! Because faith comes when you hear the Word of God. And trust me, you are going to hear the Word of God every single Sunday here at NoLimits. As I'm going through this trial, this study helped me to see the importance to stand firm on the Word of God and to praise and pray my way through. I always said in my heart to understand a matter will help you to overcome a situation.

Give me, amidst the confusions of my day, the calmness of the everlasting hills. Break the tensions of my nerves with the soothing music of the singing streams that live in my memory. Help me to seek you, to learn from you, to know you. I so often get caught up in my thoughts, my daily routine, and my circle of friends and family that I forget about everything else. I pray that in some small way my words and actions can lead others to a closer relationship with you. As I pray quietly alone at this sanctuary I know that I am not alone.

He knew the span of your life before you were formed in your mother’s womb. He knows the hairs on your head, the thoughts in your mind, and the hours that you will live on this earth.

Use your imagination to see every word of Scripture turning to gold as you read it. Think of every promise as a precious stone. See the words about Jesus in the Gospels as sparkling like diamonds.
Probably everybody was laughing; here's this rich man up in a tree trying to see Jesus. He said, "Zacchaeus, come down. I must have dinner at your house." Zacchaeus was amazed, "I'm a sinner and here he is inviting me — he wants to come to my house." Paul is urging Christians to respond to God's mercy, His forgiveness of our sin, and His inclusion of us in His family. The appropriate reaction would be offering to Him our entire lives as a form of living, breathing sacrifice.
I remain sober longer and longer cause it's God's will. I thank and praise Life Change Church for putting such great people in front of me so it was impossible to miss them. I grow stronger every day and praise God for it. I never knew that the bible has the power to change your mindset and improve your life. I have a colleague who feels like the pandemic has robbed him of everything in life.

Our difficulty is how to discern God’s will in matters that are not revealed in the Bible at all. The Bible is not an almanac where you can find every specific detail about your life. So, if you are a young person seeking to know what God’s will is for your career, you won’t find it in the Bible. What you will find are some useful guiding principles that help to narrow down your options. Whatever career you choose should be one that will honour the Lord and make you useful to society.
So, Christ is coming back to this earth, but not right away. People who go running around mouthing their own ideas and predictions about Christ’s return “tonight” are false prophets. They are not heeding the words of Jesus Christ.

A friend sent me this book, and it sat on my shelf for a year before I finally opened it. But I also know God's timing is perfect, and reading this book sent me looking for  new ways to pray and eventually resulted in the creation of The Lettering Prayer Journal. Learning to handle it with grace and wisdom will make your life much more enjoyable.
Just turn to your neighbor and say, “I’m being squeezed.” And if they’re squeezing, you just tell them, “Stop. That’s awkward.” We are being squeezed by the world around us. Well, and then you go further into the party and you see two people in a corner whispering and laughing. And you know what they’re whispering about, don’t you?

Don't underestimate the impact of your faithfulness on future generations. Learn how the fear of the Lord is the source of every blessing imaginable. Be encouraged to consider our heavenly Father's unlimited grace. Bayside exists to reach people far from God and show them how to follow Jesus step by step. Well, if we trusted God’s word, we would know it was possible.
